High temperatures and a light calima are predicted for Lanzarote over the next few days.
The calima will be light and high in the atmosphere, and will be mainly visible later this afternoon, according to AEMET, Spain’s weather agency. It will be accompanied by temperatures that could reach the low 30s.
The heat is predicted to continue until mid-week, possibly reaching maximum temperatures of 36 Celsius on Tuesday, before cooling off a little towards the end of the week.
Light winds will drop later today, with tomorrow very still and calm.
