700,000 airport arrivals recorded in February

February has set new records in numbers of airport arrivals, with 700,000 travellers in the second month of the year.

In January this year the island recorded more than 671,000 travellers and February recorded 700,000 travellers, which is a 9.7% increase compared to the first two months of 2023.

An all-time record for travellers was set in 2023 with 8.21 million. If the trend continues, Lanzarote is on course to set a new record of 9 million in a year.

The figures for January and February this year positioned the Lanzarote Airport as the eight busiest airport in Spain.
