Playa Blanca will mark Halloween on Saturday, 31st October, with family activities, themed performances and spooky characters in the town centre.

Playa Blanca is preparing a programme of Halloween activities organised by Yaiza Ayuntamiento, with events centred on Plaza del Carmen and aimed at residents and visitors.

The celebrations will begin at 5pm with themed face-painting and tattoo workshops for children and adults. The session will be followed by the appearance of villains and spooky characters roaming the town centre.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to take photographs with the costumed characters. The programme includes a Halloween mini-disco (starting 7pm), parades (starting 8pm) and a show designed around the theme of terror (also starting 8pm).

Freya Finch, Councilwoman for Community Events, said: “We have many surprises in store so that our residents can enjoy Halloween night – and do so as a family – because these activities promote community bonding and a positive atmosphere”.
