The annual “Los Misses” gala brought 21 contestants to El Golfo’s festival grounds on Saturday, attracting dozens of residents and visitors for one of the highlights of the La Pardela celebrations.
The event began two decades ago as an initiative to entertain the community during its local celebrations. Since then, it has become a fixture of the annual celebrations, with the 2026 edition once again attracting dozens of people to the festival grounds on Saturday.
A total of 21 contestants took to the runway, competing for the main title and a place among the gala’s other award winners. The event crowns its Miss, who holds the title of Queen of El Golfo for one year, while also recognising the most elegant and charming participants.
The judging panel unanimously chose Miss Paraíso Canario as Miss Pardela 2026.
The decision was warmly received by the audience, whose reaction followed the announcement by César Rijo, the gala’s “heartthrob”, that the new winner had been selected.
Miss Calabacita, a veteran of the pageant, took the Miss Elegance title, while Miss Dos Pamelas was named Miss Congeniality.
