Patera carrying at least 21 people arrives at Costa Teguise

A patera containing at least 21 people arrived at Playa Bastián in Costa Teguise yesterday morning.

The wooden fishing boat was reported by a local resident, and Guardia Civil, National Police and Red Cross agents arrived at the beach.

21 migrants were located, two of whom were picked up on nearby streets. The exact number of arrivals remains unknown.
