Sunday started breezy and is forecast to become even windier as the day goes on.
The Canarian Government has issued a pre-alert for strong winds starting at 3pm today (Sunday 2nd August). The wind will continue into Monday morning, easing off slightly in the afternoon and returning to normal levels on Tuesday.
Temperatures will continue to be hot, with temperatures around the 30 degrees mark, and the light, high calima will continue.
