Barriers have been installed at the bus parking zone at Lanzarote’s César Manrique Airport.

Bus drivers will be able to use a ticket issued when entering the airport to operate the barriers. For the time being, parking is free, but AENA has announced its intention to charge for the service.

According to the airport, the system “will allow for a much higher turnover and improve the flow of all modes of transport in the airport’s arrivals area” as well as “discourage the misuse of the parking area.”
