A free jazz concert will be held in Costa Teguise tomorrow, Friday May 1st, to celebrate UNESCO’s international Jazz Day.
The event will take place at the Plaza Tenerife on Calle Las Olas in Costa Teguise, overlooking Playa de las Cucharas.
DJ Lunicu will warm up with jazz selections from 6.30 pm before the Cristopher Pérez Trio take the stage at 7.30 pm. Pérez is a talented local saxophonist who will be playing with a rhythm section composed of David Muñoz (bass) and Ancor Miranda (drums).
At 8.30, the headline artist, Deelee Dubé, will perform with a specially selected quartet. Deelee Dubé is a British singer of South African heritage whose fine voice made her the first British winner of the prestigious Sarah Vaughan award in 2016.
