Search for missing man continues on Famara cliffside

The search for a 41-year-old Uruguayan man continues today on the cliffsides of Famara.

After Miguel Ángel Gentile was reported missing by his father in Brazil, who had not heard from him for several days, his car was located in the car park of the Camino de las Rositas, near Yé. Guardia Civil agents estimate that the car may have been there since April 5^th.  Gentile’s mobile phone and documents were found inside the vehicle.

A search of the rocky zone and the steep cliffside was initiated yesterday, in which drones and a helicopter participated, but the search was abandoned because of fog.

The search will continue today.
