Hecher Sosa, the Arrecife-based MMA fighter known as “the Guanche Warrior” makes his debut in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) tonight.
The Lanzarote bantamweight will take on Brazilian fighter Luan Larceda with a record of 14 victories and one loss. Lacerda, however, has more experience at this level, with three UFC fights under his belt.
The whole island will be getting behind Hecher, with special showings in various bars, as well as Arrecife’s youth centre.
The fight will be shown on HBO Max at 10.00 pm.
