AEMET has upgraded its yellow warning for rough seas on Wednesday morning to orange, meaning that conditions offer “significant danger”.
The orange alert will apply from midnight tonight until midday on Wednesday 4th March, and will possibly affect ferry services and other shipping. Northern coasts of the island will be worst-affected.
Meanwhile, a yellow wind alert will apply from 3 pm this afternoon (Tuesday 3rd March until 9 am tomorrow morning, with gusts of up to 80 kph forecast.
Scattered rain showers are predicted for today, and the temperature will be cool at around 14 degrees Celsius.
