Traffic lights are operating again in Arrecife

Traffic lights are operating in Arrecife once more after several weeks during which they were turned off.

The lights on Calle Manolo Millares at the busy western entrance to the city have finally been turned on again, although those on Calle Triana are still reported to be out of order.

The delay was caused by the failure of Arrecife Ayuntamiento to receive an appropriate bid for the maintenance of the service. At the third attempt, a contract has been signed.
