Wind and rough seas alert extended

A yellow alert for wind and rough seas is now in place for Lanzarote from midday today (Saturday 14^th February) until 4 pm tomorrow.

The extended alert, which originally only warned of wind and lasted until midnight, predicts possible north-easterly gusts of up to 70 kph in exposed areas, while the rough seas alert forecasts waves of up to 4 metres in height.
