Spain’s national weather agency, AEMET, is predicting more rain for today and Friday, although temperatures will rise a little.

It was already raining gently in many parts of the island on the morning of Thursday 22nd January, and the forecast is that there is a high probability of rain in the afternoon, too.  Rainfall is expected to be light to moderate, with the sun breaking through in between, while average temperatures of 18 to 19 degrees Celsius are expected.

The agency also predicts a high chance of rain on Friday 23rd, when winds will also pick up to 30 kph.

A yellow alert for rough seas has also been issued, with waves of up to four to five metres predicted on north-western coasts from 6 pm tomorrow until 2 am on Friday morning.
