Lanzarote is preparing for the Three Kings’ arrival on January 5th, an event that will deliver joy and excitement across the island. Here’s where to see them:

Arrecife

The Grand Parade will take place at 6:00 p.m. and will depart from the Puerto Naos roundabout, next to Agramar, and continue to the Parque Islas Canarias.

Tías & Puerto del Carmen

The parade in Tias is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The parade will start at the roundabout at the intersection of Calle Pérez Galdós and Avenida Central Alcalde Florencio Suárez and will proceed along that avenue and Calle Libertad.

The parade in Puerto del Carmen is scheduled for 11.30am, starting at the Old Town harbour, before parading from Calle Teide to Calle Los Afrechos.

Yaiza & Playa Blanca

The parades will see the Kings process through the streets on camel-back. The first begins at 5:00 pm in Yaiza, departing from the gallery and travelling along the main street to the Plaza de la Alameda.

The second parade is scheduled for 7:30 pm in Playa Blanca. It will start at the bus station roundabout, proceed down Calle Jaime Quesada and along the Avenida Papagayo, finishing at the Plaza del Carmen. Entertainment there begins earlier, at 6:00 pm, around the same square. Following both processions, the Three Kings will personally greet and listen to the wishes of all children. The evening in Playa Blanca will be rounded off with a performance by DJ Elvis.

Before the parades, the Kings will conduct a thorough tour of the southern localities by vehicle. Their morning itinerary is as follows:

  • La Geria: 9:20 am
  • Puerto Calero: 10:10 am
  • Playa Quemada: 10:35 am
  • Uga: 11:00 am
  • Las Casitas: 11:15 am
  • Femés: 11:30 am
  • Maciot: 11:45 am
  • Las Breñas: 12:05 pm
  • La Hoya: 12:15 pm
  • El Golfo: 12:35 pm
  • La Degollada: 1:00 pm

Teguise & Costa Teguise

The Three Kings will leave the Plaza de Los Leones to visit the socio-cultural centers of the towns at 9:00 a.m.

At 9:15 a.m., they will be in Teseguite, at 9:40 a.m. in El Mojón, at 9:50 a.m. in Los Valles, at 10:05 a.m. in Guatiza, at 10:25 a.m. in Los Cocoteros, at 10:45 a.m. in Costa Teguise, in Las Caletas at 11:05 a.m., in Tahíche at 11:25 a.m., at 11:45 a.m. in Nazaret, at 12:05 p.m. in Mozaga, in Tao at 12:25 p.m., at 1:05 p.m. in Tiagua, at 1:25 p.m. in Muñique, at Caleta de Caballo at 1:55 p.m., at 2:20 p.m. in Soo and at La Caleta de Famara at 2:45 p.m.

The Three Kings will parade La Villa de Teguise from 7:30pm.

Tinajo

The Grand Parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. Starting at the football ground and ending at Plaza de San Roque.

Haría

The actual landing will take place at the Arrieta pier at 3:30 p.m., and the parade will wind through the town centre starting at 7:00 p.m from the Ayuntamiento.

San Bartolomé & Playa Honda

The parade will be in Playa Honda at 5:00 p.m. on the town’s main avenida. It will start at Playa Juan Curita and end at the Guacimeta esplanade. In San Bartolomé, the parade will start at 7:30 p.m. on Avenida Alcalde Antonio Cabrera Barrero, near IES San Bartolomé, and will follow the same avenida to Calle Rubicón and Calle San Simón, ending at Plaza León y Castillo, next to the San Bartolomé Ayuntamiento.
