Lanzarote’s César Manrique Airport registered 708,898 passengers in September, 0.3% more than last year.

In September this year, Canary Islands airports recorded a total of 4,424,914 passengers, 3.8% more than in the same month in 2024.

Of the total number of passengers recorded, 4,219,296 were commercial flight passengers, of which 1,955,603 travelled on domestic flights, 5% more than in September last year, and 2,263,693 on international flights, 2.5% more than in the same month in 2024.

Traffic by airports (September 2025)

Gran Canaria Airport recorded the highest number of passengers with 1,186,060, representing an increase of 6.2% compared to the same month in 2024.

It was followed by Tenerife South Airport, with 996,795 passengers (-0.1%); César Manrique-Lanzarote, with 708,898 passengers (+0.3%); Tenerife North-Ciudad de La Laguna, with 633,010 (+7.6%); Fuerteventura, with 556,869 (+7.8%); La Palma, with 121,409 (+1.8%); El Hierro, with 28,522 (-7.9%); and La Gomera, with 11,351 passengers (+5.6%).

So far this year, Canary Islands airports have handled 40,644,596 passengers, 4.9% more than in the same period in 2024.

Of the 40,404,864 commercial passengers, 16,949,586 travelled on domestic flights, 5.2% more, and 23,455,278 travelled on international flights, 4.8% more than in the same period last year.
