Lanzarote’s César Manrique Airport registered 825,901 passengers in August, 3.6% more than last year.
In August this year, Canary Islands airports recorded a total of 4,730,200 passengers, 5.2% more than in the same month in 2024.
Of the total number of passengers recorded, 4,703,664 were commercial flight passengers, of which 2,186,713 travelled on domestic flights, 6.1% more than in August last year, and 2,516,951 on international flights, 4.6% more than in the same month in 2024.

Gran Canaria Airport recorded the highest number of passengers with 1,294,008, representing an increase of 6.2% compared to August 2024.
It was followed by Tenerife South Airport, with 1,110,732 passengers and an increase of 1.1%; César Manrique-Lanzarote, with 825,901 passengers (+3.6%); Tenerife North-Ciudad de La Laguna, with 683,589 (+9.7%); Fuerteventura, with 628,755 (+10%); La Palma, with 138,846 (+0.5%); El Hierro, with 34,086 (-4.1%); and La Gomera, with 14,283 passengers (+9.2%).

So far this year, Canary Islands airports have handled 36,401,682 passengers, 5% more than in the same period in 2024.
Of the 36,185,568 commercial passengers, 14,993,983 travelled on domestic flights, 5.3% more, and 21,191,585 travelled on international flights, 5% more than in the same period in 2024.
