Arrecife will welcome just three cruise ships this month, before things start to pick up from October onwards.
According to the latest schedules, September will see three major cruise ship arrivals:
- Ventura (P&O Cruises) on September 14th, carrying up to 3,727 passengers.
- Iona (P&O Cruises) on September 27th, with a massive capacity of 6,600 passengers.
- Ventura (P&O Cruises) again on September 28th, bringing another 3,727 passengers to the city.
Arrecife’s cruise tourism continues to grow, with 23.67% more passengers arriving in the first five months of 2025, compared to 2024, despite a decrease in passengers in May.
The data, provided by the Lanzarote Data Centre, shows that January received the highest number of cruise passengers, when 92,074 passengers arrived on the island. May recorded the lowest number, with just 11,988 passengers.
