Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital now offers live musical performances

Patients at the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital can now enjoy musical performances by the social action group Acompañar.

The aim of the association is to offer emotional support to patients, family members and staff in the hospital via live music, always assuming that they have given consent.

Performances take place in the Oncology and Pediatrics departments, and occasionally in Intensive Care.

Pablo Egia, hospital director, said “Our aim is always to put the person at the centre of attention – not just their physical health, but also the emotional welfare of patients and families.”
