Guardia Civil have arrested a 35-year-old man in Playa Blanca as part of a drugs investigation named Operation Calcetines (Socks)
A raid on the suspect’s house and vehicle resulted in the seizure of a high-purity cocaine, half a kilo of cocaine of which had been prepared for sale. Officers also found hashish, ecstasy pills, doses of LSD and Rivotril, as well as more than seven thousand euros in cash.
The suspect was remanded in custody pending trial by an Arrecife court.
