New Lidl opens in Costa Teguise

Costa Teguise’s first Lidl supermarket opened today, ushering in a new age of shopping for residents of the resorts.

The new supermarket is located on Calle Las Piteras, just off the main approach to Costa Teguise, and is the first large discount supermarket in the resort, which has until now only had smaller HiperDino and Spar stores.

 The supermarket is the first of its kind in Costa Teguise, which until now has had only smaller Spar and HiperDino stores. It will be open from 8.30 am to 10 pm daily.

It is the sixth Lidl to open on Lanzarote and allows Costa Teguise residents and tourists to buy food as well as cat toys, drill bits, paddling pools and thermal underwear from the famous central aisle.
