Over 58,000 vehicles entered Papagayo beaches this year

Over 58,000 non-resident vehicles visited Papagayo beaches in the first half of 2025, according to data provided by Yaiza Ayuntamiento, at the request of La Voz.

Access to Papagayo beaches costs 3 euros per vehicle for non-residents. From January to June this year, €174,444 has been collected from a total of 58,148 vehicles. The total figure amounts to an average of 9691 non-resident vehicles visiting Papagayo beaches each month.

Last year, from January to July, 48,000 non-resident vehicles entered. In total, 103,941 vehicles entered Papagayo beaches in 2024, bringing €311,825 with them.
