Eight rubbish bins set on fire in Arrecife

Fire fighters were called to eight rubbish bin fires in the early hours of this morning in Arrecife.

The first incident was reported to emergency services at approximately 3:20am on Calle Palma de Mallorca. Upon arrival, firefighters found that four rubbish bins had been set on fire. The flames were safely extinguished, however, the bins were destroyed.

Shortly after, they were called to Calle Guillermo Topham to find another three containers on fire. Two of the bins were destroyed while the other, a metal clothes recycling container, is able to be reused.

Lastly, at approximately 5am, they were called to Calle Blasco Ibáñez to extinguished one rubbish container that had been set on fire.
