Lamp post dismantled in Costa Teguise

Firefighters dismantled a lamp post that was in danger of falling and taped off a walled area in the Pueblo Marinero area of Costa Teguise yesterday.

The firefighters responded to a call warning of the danger and were greeted at the site by Local police officers.

The lamppost had already been disconnected from the energy supply, and the firefighters ten used an impact wrench to remove the rings that were fastening it. The garden planter was then taped off.
