Arrecife average hotel prices match Teguise

Usually, hotels in Lanzarote’s three main resorts charge more than those outside of them; however, hotels in the capital have been rising and last month they matched the average hotel rate in Teguise.

Last June, the average hotel rate in Arrecife was 85.9 euros per night, while in Teguise it was 86.15 euros per night. The month before saw Arrecife surpass Teguise, with 84.4 euros per night compared to 82.7 euros per night in Teguise.

Prior to the pandemic, the difference between hotel rates in Arrecife and the resorts was greater. In June 2019, the average rate in Arrecife was 54.4 euros per night, and 67.6 euros per night in Teguise.

However, Arrecife is yet to reach the prices in Tias (103.9 euros per night in June) or Yaiza (126.85 euros per night).
