Resident accused of allowing dogs to run wild and kill other pets

A resident of Charco del Palo is being investigated by the Guardia Civíl after several complaints of his dogs running wild and killing other pets.

Other residents in the village complain that dogs belonging to the man are allowed to run free and have attacked and killed at least four cats and one dog.

They claim that the man has more than eight dogs and that, on one occasion, the dogs have threatened to attack a resident who managed to take refuge in his home.

The Guardia Civíl’s SEPRONA department has taken testimony and evidence and submitted its report to the courts in Arrecife and the environmental prosecutor.
