Ryanair has revealed the midlands top travel destinations this summer at Birmingham Airport & East Midlands Airport.
Unsurprisingly, Lanzarote makes an appearance in the top 3 for both airports. However, the Canaries only occupy 5 positions, while a surprise destination makes the list at East Midlands Airport this summer.
Top 3 Summer Travel Destinations – Birmingham Airport:
- Gran Canaria
- Fuerteventura
- Lanzarote

- Lanzarote
- Tenerife
- Knock

So far this year, tourist arrivals from the UK remain far ahead of the rest in Lanzarote. From January to April this year, almost 600,000 (596,588) Brits have arrived on Lanzarote, followed by Germany (132,769) & Ireland (126,310).
