Playa Blanca’s largest tourist beach, Playa Dorada, was reopened at midday yesterday after two and a half days of closure following the discovery of unacceptable levels of bacteria in water samples.
Further samples have been taken, establishing that there is no longer contamination and the beach has been reopened and a green flag hoisted.
Yaiza Ayuntamiento will continue testing and attempt to discover the source of the pollution discovered on Monday.
