The Daily Express has posted an article online about a “Greek island as big as Lanzarote but without huge crowds”.
The Daily Express newspaper has posted an article online advertising the Greek island of Chios, stating that while “Lanzarote is a firm favourite among tourists”, visitors can enjoy this “blissfully uncrowded” island instead.
With 21,000 fewer overnight stays per square kilometre & Chios’ rich biodiversity means that it “hasn’t had to rely on tourism, meaning a different kind of travel experience has been shaped without sprawling resorts”, Daily Express wrote.
The article continues to list facts about the Greek island, emphasising its less-crowded, calmer nature and cultural heritage including the “Chios Mastic Museum, which gives insight into the island’s unique industry, and monasteries like Nea Moni, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offer quiet views over the hills.”
