A contract worth €362,355 to renovate and improve the beaches of Costa Teguise has been put out to tender by Teguise Ayuntamiento.

The work will include painting, plumbing and electrical work and will be carried out on elements such as benches, railings, signposts, showers, flagpoles, wastebaskets, walkways, ramps, platforms, stairs, public conveniences, walls, planters, and the movement of sand.

It will take place in the resort’s main beaches of Playa Cucharas, Jablillo, Bastián, Los Charcos and Ancla, as well as in some parts of the promenade and adjacent streets. The project does not include the concession for sunbeds on Teguise’s beaches, which expired recently and is awaiting renewal.

“Our beaches are one of our greatest tourist attractions and the economic engine of Costa Teguise,” said Teguise Tourism Councillor Rita Hernández. “Keeping them in perfect condition is not just a matter of aesthetics, but a priority to guarantee the safety, accessibility, and quality of the services we offer.”

Bids will be received until July 3rd.
