The British tourist market will reinforce its presence on Lanzarote in the second quarter of 2025, according to forecasts published by the Canarian Institute of Statistics.
The British market already provides more than 50% of the island’s tourism and that dominance will continue into the summer, while other markets, such as the Scandinavia and Germany, are predicted to decline.
Other markets, such as Ireland, Italy, France and the Netherlands will remain average, as will domestic Spanish tourism.
The overall number of tourists is expected to rise once again, maintaining the upward trend in the price of hotel and non-hotel accommodation and also creating employment in the hotel sector.
