A study by Airalo analysing the 15 busiest airports in Spain has found that Lanzarote Airport has the most expensive VIP lounge of the lot.

Travel sim card company, Airalo, revealed that internet searches for airport VIP lounge prices increased by 150% in Spain last year.

The company analysed Spain’s 15 busiest airports to determine where travellers can find the most affordable VIP lounges. The study revealed that the most expensive of all is the Lanzarote Airport, which costs 44.60 euros to enter.

The second most expensive airport VIP lounge amongst the 15 analysed is in Menorca, costing 34 euros to enter.

Amongst the cheapest airport VIP lounges are Barcelona Airport (25 euros) and Gran Canaria Airport and Tenerife Airport both costing 30 euros.

The majority of the 15 analysed airports charge 31 euros to enter – at Tenerife North, Barajas, Palma, Malaga, Alicante, Valencia, Seville, Ibiza, Bilbao and Fuerteventura.
