An EasyJet flight from Lanzarote to London Gatwick was forced to make an emergency landing after two families fought over the 2010 remake of “The Karate Kid”.

The rather bizarre argument started after a 5-year-old boy began to watch “The Karate Kid” at low volume on his iPad.

Later, a woman four rows ahead of them became annoyed by it and told the 5-year-old to turn it off. However, The Sun reported that the boy’s mother claimed that her son was shouted at and was racially abused.

When she challenged the woman four rows in front, she alleges that the woman’s partner grabbed her disabled partner by the neck.

After the argument became physical the pilot made the decision to cut the flight short and make an emergency landing in Porto, leaving both families to make their own way home.

According to The Sun, the mother insists that her family should have been supported and has spent nine months complaining to EasyJet without response.
