4-year-old boy in “serious” condition after being resuscitated

A 4-year-old boy is in a serious condition after suffering symptoms of drowning in a swimming pool in a Playa Blanca hotel.

The child was rescued by a lifesaver, unconscious. A hotel guest who was a doctor confirmed that cardiac arrest had occurred and managed to resuscitate the child.

Health service workers then assessed the patient, who was taken to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital in a “serious” condition.
