The Las Palmas Port Authority has approved a project with a budget of almost 750,000 euros to carry out improvements at Arrecife’s cruise dock.
The project, which has a budget of 747,386 and a completion period of 8 months, will see the construction of two checkpoints, one which will involve a new roundabout on the esplanade, another with a prefabricated unit.
In addition, the existing esplanade will be rearranged to support parking spaces for 19 buses, cabs, rental vehicles and vehicle owners who will work at the new cruise terminal. Pedestrian access will also be changed to adapt to those with reduced mobility.
