The British woman who attacked and bit Guardia Civil officers while being removed from a plane for disorderly behaviour was fined at a court in Arrecife on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old has been ordered to pay a total of €1,080 after admitting to resisting arrest and three counts of injury against the agents involved.

In addition, she must pay personal compensation of €259.42 to two officers and €340.99 to a third.

The incident occurred on Tuesday morning when agents were informed that two passengers on a flight to London were acting in a drunk and disorderly manner.  One of the passengers was escorted off the plane, but the other refused to leave and “bit, scratched, kicked and pushed” the agents
