Arrecife demolishes part of unsafe building

This morning, Arrecife Ayuntamiento have demolished part of an unsafe, abandoned building in on calle Perú to improve public safety.

The section of the building has been demolished after part of its roof had collapsed and posed a danger to the public.

Arrecife Mayor, Yonathan de León, visited the site this morning to oversee the demolition of the unsafe section of the abandoned property and stated, “we will proceed in a few days to clean up the area and paint the surroundings, as we are doing with other areas of Arrecife.” De León added, “we are working for Arrecife to change its urban image.”
