The Cabildo, in collaboration with the Lanzarote Multiple Sclerosis Association (ALanEM), turned the Castillo de San José orange last Thursday, May 30th, for World Multiple Sclerosis Day.
The Cabildo’s Councillor for Social Welfare and Inclusion, Marci Acuña, stated that “from the Cabildo we join this campaign to raise awareness about this disease, showing the colour orange as a representative gesture in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. In addition, we want to express our great support to those affected and their families, as well as with the promotion of health and physical and mental wellbeing of our citizens”.
