Local winery, Producciones Arráez Bravo, has won two gold awards for its wines at the Challenge International du Vin in France.

The Challenge International du Vin is organised in the form of a blind tasting and is open to all wines and spirits made from grapes around the world (in bulk or bottled), regardless of the vintage. As a pioneer of international competitions in France, it is one of the most renowned competitions in the world.

In its latest edition, Lanzarote winery, Producciones Arráez Bravo, have been awarded two gold medals for their Lágrima de Listán Negro and Lágrima Malvasía wines.

“This international recognition once again highlights the work and passion that our wineries put into each bottle,” said Jorge Rodríguez, president of the Regulatory Council of Lanzarote Wines PDO. “Our wines, born from the volcanic soil of the island, despite the adversities, continue to forge a path that has no borders, showing that Lanzarote is an oenological jewel with its own character,” he added.
