Woman hit by bus in Costa Teguise dies

The woman who was hit by a bus in Costa Teguise yesterday has tragically passed away in hospital after sustaining serious injuries.

At approximately 9am yesterday morning, the emergency services received an alert to Calle Caldera de Taburiente in Costa Teguise after a report that a woman had been hit by a bus.

Upon arrival, the medical team found that the woman had suffered serious injuries and was immediately taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife for urgent treatment.

It was announced later that day that the woman had tragically passed away at the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife.
