Average hotel rate in Lanzarote double that of ten years ago

The average cost per night in hotels in Lanzarote reached €120 in 2023, 6.5% more than the previous year and almost double the average rate 10 years ago (€62).

The highest increase from this year compared to the previous year was in November, when rooms were offered at an average of €128 per night, 15.5% more than in November last year (€111).

The cheapest rooms from last year were during May and June, with an average of €101 and €104. June also saw the smallest increase in price compared to the previous year, just 2.4% more expensive on average.

In contrast, the average cost per night for a hotel on Lanzarote in 2013 was just €62. And the island’s hotels earned €272 million in 2013, while the hotels operating last year earned a whopping €686 million.
