Four rubbish containers burned in Arrecife

Fire fighters were alerted to Calle Otilia Díaz in Arrecife last Saturday, to attend yet another rubbish container fire.

At approximately 4am last Saturday, the emergency services were called to Calle Otilia Díaz after another report of a rubbish container fire.

Upon arrival, the fire fighters found four organic waste containers on fire. The fire was safely extinguished by the crew and no injuries were reported.

The recurring fires come at a great cost with each rubbish bin costing approximately 1,200 euros to replace.
