A tourist had to be rescued by the emergency services after an accident at Playa del Pozo in Playa Blanca.
At approximately 2:20pm yesterday afternoon, the emergency services were alerted to a tourist who had possibly suffered a fractured tibia and fibula after a fall at one of the beaches.
Upon arrival the medical staff assessed the tourist at the ambulance before taking them to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife for further treatment.
