An old drago tree in Arrecife has been rescued after fears that it might fall.
The tree, which stood on the roundabout in front of the Real Club Nautico before the narrowing of the seafront a few years ago, was leaning dangerously and causing concern that it might fall.
Ayuntamiento workers have installed a wall of volcanic rock to support the tree.
