The German supermarket giant look to increase the number of shops on the island, having requested the licence to build another supermarket in Costa Teguise.
Lidl have requested the licence to build a new shop on Calle las Piteras in Costa Teguise. The supermarket giant already has 3 established shops on Lanzarote in Arrecife, Playa Honda and Puerto del Carmen.
The addition of the Costa Teguise plans will see Lidl have 5 shops total with the inclusion of the one being built in Playa Blanca which is expected to open before Christmas this year.
