One of Air Europa’s Boeing 787s now features the words “Lanzarote: A Unique Island” towards the back of the plane. A marketing initiative between the airline and Turismo Lanzarote.
Cabildo President, Oswaldo Betancort, highlights the impact of the campaign “that will take the image of Lanzarote and its values to the main international airports to promote the island in the markets that it is targeting.”
The Boeing 787 will make more than 70 flights every month, bringing the Lanzarote name to a number of different countries around the world. Additionally, the Lanzarote name is featured on a plane that consumes 20% less fuel and generate fewer carbon emissions than any other similarly sized aircrafts.
