Two of Lanzarote’s most popular tourist attractions have extended their opening hours to deal with summer demand.
The Montañas del Fuego at Timanfaya will open from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, with the last coach trip around the Ruta de los Volcanes at 4.30 pm. The Restaurante El Diablo at Timanfaya will serve volcano-grilled meals between 12 noon and 4.15 pm, while the cafe will remain open from 9.15 am to 5.15 pm.
The Cueva de los Verde in Haría will open from 10 am to 6 pm, with the last guided tour through the cave taking place at 5 pm.
Visitors are advised to avoid peak times, and arrive earlier or later to avoid queues.
