The Partido Popular in Yaiza has requested that Yaiza Ayuntamiento implement a tourist information desk at the new port in Playa Blanca.
Municipal spokesperson for the Partido Popular, Juan Monzón, stated “the progressive increase of passengers that the port registers annually supports the creation of this office from which tourists who visit us will be able to obtain first-hand information about the tourist attractions in the municipality.”
Playa Blanca closed the third quarter of the year with almost 750,000 passengers – an increase of 10% compared to the previous year.
“If Playa Blanca is a first class tourist destination, it is also our obligation as a public institution to contribute to the promotion of quality services, infrastructures and public facilities, both for the residents and those who visit us”, Monzón added in closing.
