Lanzarote Airport received 11% more visitors this October than it did in the same month in  2019, before the pandemic started. 680.525 visitors arrived on the island last month, according to Spain’s airport authority AENA.

The figures place Lanzarote at the top of the Canaries in terms of recovery, and hint at a promising winter season ahead.

AENA also indicated that, although cumulative figures for the year showed that arrivals on the Canaries had not yet reached the overall levels of 2019, they were almost 95% of the figures ion 2019.
