Lanzarote experienced a spectacular night of stormy conditions yesterday, as a storm passed over the island. Several peals of thunder were heard, and flashes of lightning lit up the night sky.
As well as the awe-inspiring lightshow, the storm also brought showers and a few gusts of high wind to the island, although neither were anywhere near strong enough to cause flooding or damage.
The forecast for today is plenty of sun with no change in temperatures, although a mild calima is likely to return. Winds will be low, with extremely calm and still conditions predicted for Monday.
